Twin Rocks Estate Cave Shoot by Thistle Bee Florals

To do a job this intricate and extensive, you need a great team. This was weeks of planning, prepping, building and executing. We all had a blast working together to turn a commercial wine cave into a magical secret garden and romantic ceremony vestibule.  On this project I was proud to bring on an incredible team of Freelance Florists, Brenda Herrera (CFA) and owner of @popandbloom  who can span from amazing floral design and production to team lead and back on demand. She did everything I asked of her and more. Shirley Redublo; my left hand in all things - performing every task from C.O.O. to floral production and inventory manager, she kept us grounded and organized so we could keep producing. Then Terri Franzoni, (CFA 30+years) who is my right-hand; we collaborated on all the design of all elements, Terri took charge of ordering all the flowers and organizing schedules along with creating a sophisticated floral esthetic I love.  Each of these ladies have the most amazing work ethic and truly generous hearts. I am so grateful for these incredible women and look forward to producing many creative projects with them in the future. The team included a whole host of other amazing people who worked so very hard to support us and I could not be more proud and grateful for them.

We hit the jackpot with our gorgeous married couple. The photos are amazing because the love is real. They made the flowers blush. Ulysses is well, first of all an truly lovely guy, he's in the military, pursuing his Masters degree, a background in many things including a little acting! Alexis has a career in business while also a military wife, heroes both of them in my book. In person you could not meet two more beautiful souls. Modelling is something they do for fun and we are so grateful we could share them with you.

Granite Bay has recently become the home of the completely stunning, Twin Rocks Estate Winery. It is fast becoming known for its wines, events, and venue services. The wine cave beneath the main tasting room is perfect for celebration dinners, wedding ceremonies or cocktail hours. It is bigger than it looks and feels magical. We are incredibly grateful to Twin Rocks event manager, Kimberly Risso, for her support. There is nothing else like Twin Rocks Estate Winery in our area and we are incredibly grateful we were afforded the opportunity to create these amazing 

projects for them.

When I called the Tuxedo Den in Sacramento and introduced myself, they had never heard of my little floral business. And yet, when I told them of my plan to turn a wine cave, at a new venue in Placery County into a wedding site and "could I borrow some Tuxedos?" they didn't bat an eye. I am entirely grateful for their trust and for the amazing tuxedoes we were able to include in the shoot. This is an incredible local company.
