Amanda and her team at Thistle Bee Florals are phenomenal! Truly a wonderful experience from the first meeting to the Wedding Day!
I was introduced to Amanda by my in-laws, she is actually one of their neighbors. I hadn't seen much of her work when I hired her, she was still ramping up her business. I could tell though, by the way she talked and described different flowers to me that she was incredibly passionate about what she was doing. I had faith that she was going to be genuine and thoughtful of my vision for my wedding just by having a conversation with her.
Our wedding day florals were exactly what I had envisioned and beyond. They were absolutely beautiful! The team blew us away with all their hard work. They made my wedding dreams come true.
I was really big on recycling florals from our ceremony site to the reception area. Amanda and her team worked like little fairies and relocated our ceremony site florals throughout our reception and cocktail area without anyone noticing. It was truly magical. They stayed and transformed extra arrangements into mini bouquets for my guests as favors upon their exit. Even returning the next day to help clean up! Absolutely remarkable!
If you are looking for a florist who works with your budget, your vision, is honest and a delight to work with, then hire Thistle Bee Florals for your next event. I promise you, it will be the easiest decision you make!
Toni wanted to be able to focus on the moment and family and not worry so much about all the details. Once we finalized her color palette, she let me take the wheel! We carpeted the farm with beautiful daisies, oncidium orchids, butterfly ranunculus, cosmos, columbine, stunning white peonies, white roses and of course beloved straw flowers. There were hundreds of floating candles in long stemmed vases, pottery vases filled with dancing wild flowers for the banquet tables. Then a reception and dance floor, beneath a canopy of 80' oak trees. It was a heavenly scene with live music, BBQ and donuts.
Lincoln California is a small town with big country history. Rolling golden hills of live and heritage oak trees and pastures laid out before the rim of the Sierrra Foothills. Toni and Spencer wanted and intimate and authentic celebration with their closest friends and family. It provided the perfect backdrop for a very sophisticated bride in haute couture and cowboy boots on the arms of her forever one. I couldn't cut out any photos, they're all just so beautiful!
Toni's favorite and most meaningful flower is the straw flower in memory of her Oma. They are known to represent immortality and someone or something that is “always remembered”. In this, they came to be of ever more powerful meaning. Toni described her desired bouquet as wild, offset, sohpisticated, unpretentious and unique; in pale yellow and white flowers. The palette evolved with stunning white peonies, oncidum orchids, yellow poppies, white cosmos, yellow columbine, daisies and wilflowers.
The photographs truly tell the tale of this amazing wedding. She was everywhere to capture so many precious moments. The edited photographs have been expertly touched to bring out the natural beauty of the entire event.
Casandra managed this event with true expertise. She was a huge help for my team during the install and repositioning. She was amazing all the way through the timeline so Toni and Spencer could focus on being present for their best day.
Ryan Hernandez and his band truly know how to get a party going. Everyone was up on their feet having a blast. They have huge range and an extensive catalog. The level of performance was top notch. In addition they were great to work with and super helpful as we displayed 20 very large arrangements right at the front of the stage. Events and weddings are a team sport and all vendors on site work together to make sure it all works like clockwork.
